Privacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
Desk Stretch is built so that your information stays on your iPhone. There are no servers and no accounts, and Desk Stretch doesn't collect, sell or share any personal data.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below is kept only on your device, in the app's own storage:
- Your onboarding answers: first name (optional), focus areas, work hours and how often you want reminders.
- Your break history: when you took a break, which routine, and how many minutes and stretches. This powers your streak and the Progress tab.
- Your settings: smart timing, spoken cues and hold length.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or a computer, this data is included in that backup, like other apps' data.
Calendar access (optional)
If you turn on Smart timing and allow calendar access, Desk Stretch reads the times and titles of your upcoming events on your device so reminders land between meetings. Event details are never sent anywhere. A reminder may mention the event it follows (for example "after your 1:1"); that text appears only in the notification on your own device. You can turn off calendar access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service is involved.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Desk Stretch never sees your payment details; the app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.
What Desk Stretch doesn't do
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party SDKs.
- No data leaves your device, so there is nothing to share or sell.
Children
Desk Stretch is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
